How to Give

Stripes

There are many ways to donate to DCSPCA and help the animals of Dutchess County.  In addition to cash donations we accept gifts of goods, stocks, and vehicles.  We also have a planned giving program, and opportunities for corporate sponsorships. To learn more about any of the giving opportunities below, please contact

Aubrey Fitzpatrick at ext. 436 or email aubrey@dcspca.org

Planned Giving

Mentioning Dutchess County SPCA in your will is really leaving a gift of life and hope for hundreds of animals.  Is there a better legacy for your memory than saving lives?  To make a bequest, consult your attorney or will-making service when preparing your will, and designate Dutchess County SPCA, Inc. as a beneficiary for any amount you deem appropriate. It’s easy, causes no economic burden during your lifetime, and is a testament to your generosity for many years to come.

Stock Gifts

Dutchess County SPCA may receive gifts of stock through its account with TD Ameritrade. Stock gifts are sold immediately and converted to cash for the support of the shelter; they are never retained as stock.

Recurrent Donations

Giving monthly is a painless way to make a substantial gift over time.  Just $10 will pay for an animal’s food for a week.  $40 will pay for medical care for a week. If you would like to help the greatest number of animals over time, a recurring donation is a wonderful option.

Naming Gifts

Is there someone special you would like to honor, either because they deserve recognition for their generous spirit, or because they are truly loved by you?

Or perhaps they passed on and you would like to memorialize them?

Whether it is a human or pet, honoring them at DCSPCA does more than put their name on something—it helps save lives.

Consider some of our many options for naming gifts.

Sponsorship Opportunities

KENNEL/CONDO SPONSORSHIPS:

For $1,000, your honoree’s name will be posted on the condo or kennel for one year.

SPONSOR AN ANIMAL:

Just $500 will pay for the care of an animal until they are adopted, and the person you honor will receive updates on the selected animal until they find their forever home.

Tile or Paver

TILE:

For $1000, a photo and caption will be printed on a ceramic tile and placed permanently on display in our lobby.

PAVER:
