ROBIN
Meet Robin, a handsome boy who is searching for his dream home. Robin is a cedar-colored beauty with a white spot on his chest. He was found as a stray in Poughkeepsie, but he's done with walking the streets and is ready for a comfy life in a home with a loving human family.
Robin would love to be your loyal companion, staying by your side through thick and thin. With his striking looks and charming personality, Robin is sure to steal your heart.
At 3 years old and 52lbs Robin is looking for a family who will give him plenty of opportunities to play and exercise. Whether it's going for walks or playing in the backyard, Robin is sure to enjoy every moment with his new family.

SCOTTY
Hello there, my name is Scotty, and I'm a seasoned pup with plenty of energy left for fun games like tug-of-war, fetch, and long hikes. Unfortunately, my previous owner was unable to keep me, and I find myself feeling stressed in this shelter. But I'm hopeful that soon I'll find a new home where I can play with all the toys I love, especially tennis balls, and maybe even try out a spring pole! I already know some commands, so you won't have to start from scratch with my training. However, I will need some time to decompress from the changes in my life, so I'm looking for a patient and understanding owner who will give me the time I need to feel comfortable again. If you have a big yard where we can play together, that would be paw-some! Let's make some great memories together!

APOLLO
Say hello to Apollo! This handsome one year old American Staffordshire Terrier weighing 64lbs is ready to give you all his love! Apollo came to us along with his friend, Bishop. He loves to play fetch and to be showered with belly rubs and kind words. Will you tell him just how much of a good boy he really is?

MAX
In a far-off land filled with magic and wonder, there lived a guinea pig named Max. He was unlike any other creature in the forest, with a coat of white, brown, and black that shimmered in the moonlight.
Max was small but mighty, full of energy and eager to explore the world. He had traveled far and wide in his life, but he had yet to find his true home - a place where he could be loved and cherished always.
Then one day, Max found himself at our shelter, surrounded by other small animals. Though he has made many friends here, he longs for a family of his own. He dreams of a warm and cozy home, filled with love and happiness. He knows that somewhere out there is a family who will love him.
And so, Max waits patiently at our shelter, his heart filled with hope. He knows that someday, his true family will come along and take him home, where he belongs.
Will you be the one to write Max’s happy ending?

WALLACE
Meet Wallace, a 4-year-old feline with a charming personality and a love for human companionship, who is looking for his dream home.
Wallace is a social butterfly and loves nothing more than spending time with people. He's always up for a chat and will meow to get your attention, but don't worry, he's not demanding - he's just looking for some love and attention!
If you're looking for a cuddly cat, Wallace is your guy. He loves nothing more than curling up in a lap for some pets and cuddles. He's also a big fan of treats and will happily accept them as a token of your affection.
Despite his love for attention, Wallace is also independent and happy to entertain himself. He's housetrained and will make a great addition to any family, especially those with children.
At 11lbs, Wallace is the perfect size for a lap cat. Overall, Wallace is an adorable and lovable cat who will bring joy and companionship to any home.

LANAYA
Meet Lanaya, a cute and bold 12-year-old lady currently residing at the DCSPCA shelter. Lanaya is full of playful energy and loves to chase laser pointers. She has a lot of love to give and enjoys spending quality time with her human friends. She LOVES attention but asks that her future pawrents respect her boundaries when petting her. Lanaya is great communicator and will let you know when she'd like to just loaf and hang out with you.
Lanaya has early symptoms of kidney disease, which is a common health issue in cats, especially as they get older. However, with proper care and treatment, cats with kidney disease can live long and happy lives. Lanaya is currently receiving a special diet and she's doing well.
Despite her small size, Lanaya has a big personality and is sure to bring a lot of joy and happiness to your home. If you're looking for a playful and affectionate feline friend who knows what she wants, Lanaya might be the perfect match for you.

SHEEBA
Sheeba, the gorgeous 14-year-old feline, is seeking a new home (possibly with some feline friends). She's a bit shy at first, having spent most of her life in a domestic environment, but with a little patience and care, she'll show you just how loving and affectionate she can be. Treats and gentle caresses are her jam, but she'll also let you know when she needs some solo time to recharge her batteries. Life with Sheeba is a lesson in compassion and kindness, a reminder that sometimes the quietest souls have the most to offer. So, if you're ready to open your heart and your home to this regal lady, be prepared to receive a lifetime of love and gratitude in return.
